Ida Bailey Obituary
Ida Deese Bailey, 90, wife of the late Francis Allen Bailey for over 60 years, and a resident of Exmore, VA., passed away Friday, December 13,2024 at her residence in Exmore, VA. A native of Palm Beach, FL., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clayton Deese Sr. and the late Louella McClellan Deese.
She was a homemaker and a sales representative for Caroline Emmons. She is predeceased by two children, Sherry Bailey (Keith Cummings), and Teresa Bailey Gersick. Ida is survived by her daughter Beverly Bailey Stetar; sister, Norma Falkner; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore, VA. with Don Donovan officiating. Interment will take place in Palm Beach Memorial Park, Boynton Beach, FL., (Florida arrangements by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 561-833-4061) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NH. Salvation Army, PO Box 1274, Exmore, VA 23350
