Born on January 8, 1942, in Ludington, MI, Ida was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marion (Sauers) Case.
Ida was a woman of faith and went to church often. She enjoyed spending time working on crafts and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Powers of Ludington; son Jeffery Smith of Brimley; son Karl Smith; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Arthur Smith Jr.; late husband of twenty years, Robert Ramsey; and brothers, Roy and Williard Case.
A service is being planned for Ida at a future date.
