Iloramio “Ram” Varoz of Taos, NM, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 17, 2024.
In his younger years, he was a firefighter, a photographer in the Air Force and then worked for the Santa Fe National Cemetery/Veterans Administration for 30 years where in retired from. In his retirement, he traveled with his wife Anita. Some of his favorite places they went included Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy France, Switzerland, London, Morocco, all over the U.S., Cananda, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raul and Carmelita Alice Varoz, brother Leo Varos, and his son Raul Varos.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita, his children Isaac and Gina (Diego) and grandchildren Julia, Gabi and Lia Varos and his cat Muffita. Plus, many other loving friends and family.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 9:00am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church. A meal in honor of Iloramio will follow at St. Joseph's Hall. Private Burial will take place.
