Imelda Cementina Permenter

Imelda Cementina Permenter, a woman of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, in Odessa, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on August 26, 1950, in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines, Imelda was a woman whose kindness knew no bounds and whose smile was as heartwarming as the sun.
Imelda's life was a testament to the power of giving. She was a devoted mother, not just to her own children but to everyone she met. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Adam Permenter and his wife Alyssa Kerr, Richard Cementina, Ronald Cementina, Marivic Cementina, and Amanda Haulk with her husband Wesley. Her legacy continues through her thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will carry on the love she showered upon them.
Imelda was the cherished sister to ten siblings, leaving a void in a once large and bustling family circle. Though she was preceded in death by her parents, Anita Antido and Conrado Cementina, and five siblings, the memories and bonds forged will forever remain in the hearts of those she left behind.
Imelda's zest for life was evident in her passions. An excellent cook, her Chicken Adobo was legendary, bringing together friends and family in anticipation. Her home was always filled with music and laughter, as she sang and danced with an infectious joy that encouraged others to join in. Her smile was a radiant force, capable of brightening any room she entered.
Nature was one of Imelda's greatest loves. She found solace and beauty in flowers and shared a profound connection with animals. In quieter moments, she could be found sewing, a hobby that not only brought her personal joy but also provided her with a way to express her love through the intricate stitches and patterns she created.
Imelda lived her life as a loving, kind, and selfless individual. She gave without expecting anything in return and loved without conditions. Her generosity of spirit and unwavering positivity left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
