Imogene K. Thompson

Imogene Thompson, 85, of Navarre, died Friday, December 26, 2025 at The Gables of Canton. Born January 24, 1940 in Mineral City, she was a daughter of the late William and Martha (Judge) Zurfley. She was employed as a baker for 18 years at T.C. Knapp School in Perry Township. Her husband of 64 years, Richard D. Thompson, preceded her in death March 11, 2023. She is survived by 2 daughters Debbie (Mark) Richards of Bolivar and Tammy (Jim) Fabynick of East Sparta; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Diane, a grandson Trevor, 4 brothers Bill, Dick, Paul and Les and a sister Mary Geckler. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar officiated by Pastor Mark Gross.
