Ina R. Lamp

Ina Ruth Lamp, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Morgantown, WV, on May 31, 2025. Born on June 15, 1932, in Wyatt, WV, to the late John B. Conrad and Monica Warnick Conrad, Ina's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit.
Ina was the cherished wife of the late Jesse Lamp, Jr., with whom she shared a life full of love and devotion until his passing. Together, they raised a beautiful family, instilling values of compassion and care that will live on through their children. Ina is survived by her daughters, Linda Cunningham, Lillian Gerard, Susan Stallings, and Barbara Byuse (Bob), and her sons, Randy Lamp (Pam Jacobs) and Jesse Lamp. She was a loving mother not only to her surviving children but also to two infant daughters and an infant son. Ina also felt the loss of her sons-in-law Frank Gerard and Jim Stallings; and her daughter-in-law Debra Lamp.
Ina's legacy continues through her sister, Emma Posey, and a lineage that spans generations, including several living grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She was preceded in death by five sisters and twelve brothers, a testament to a family of strong bonds and shared history.
As a dedicated homemaker, Ina created a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends. Her life was a reflection of her loving and kind nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Ina's community spirit was evident through her active involvement with the Grafton VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion in Grafton. She was a familiar and beloved face at these organizations, contributing her time and energy to support veterans and their families.
Ina's zest for life was contagious, and her love for playing Bingo and her trips to Atlantic City were among her favorite pastimes. These activities brought her much joy and provided her with cherished memories that she often shared with her family.
Friends and family may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again on Tuesday, from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Max Humphreys officiating.
