Indalecio was born January 25, 1937 in Huapango, Guanajuato, Mexico to María Rojas y Eutimio Ramos and passed away alongside his family in Richmond Virginia on December 28, 2024.
Indalecio was married to the love of his life, Maria "Cuca", for over 60 years and together they had 14 children. Indalecio was a traditional, old-fashioned husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather, known for his tough and
no-nonsense nature. As he grew older, he became more involved with his family, though he always maintained a strong sense of independence. Dedicated and hardworking, even in his later years, he continued to offer his help whenever needed. Having traveled to many different states, with family scattered across the country, he became well-known to many. He will be greatly missed, but as he always said, "It's not a goodbye, it's a see you later, esta canijo."
Indalecio is survived by his children: Reyes Ramos and wife Socorro, Maria Cervantes, Concepcion Cervantes and husband Ignacio, Refugio Ramos and wife Lupe, Indalecio Ramos and wife Nelly, Leonor Ramos and husband Jose, Floriberto Ramos and wife Sandra, Carmela Ramos and husband Simitrio, Fernando Ramos and wife Alexandria, Cristina Ramos and husband Jesus. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Maria Rojas and Eutimio Ramos, his wife, Maria del Refugio Trejo, daughters, Lucia Ramos and Ingracia Ramos, grandson Antonio Ramos, granddaughter, Olga Ramos, son-in-law Jose Luis Cervantes, daughter-in-law Arsenia Martinez, and two infant children, Reyes Ramos and Cristina Ramos.
