Ines Marquez Valdez, 81, of Fort Stockton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1pm to 8pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Eternity Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Eternity Funeral Home with Pastor Jesus Guevara officiating. A burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Ines was born in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua Mexico on January 21, 1943, to Ignacio Marquez and Maria De La Luz Gonzalez. She married Oscar Valdez on June 19, 1962, in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua. To this union they had eight children. Ines was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed listening to music and watching TV at the same time. Her other passion was crocheting and playing cards.
She is preceded by her parents Ignacio Marquez and Maria De La Luz Gonzalez, her husband Oscar Valdez, son Jaime Valdez, and sister Maria Marquez.
She leaves her memory to cherish to her children Ofelia (Tim) Wass, Omega (Jorge Luis) Olivas, Enoe (Zoila Padilla Bernal) Valdez, Maria Del Lourdes (Enrique Carrasco) Valdez, Juan Valdez, Domingo (Julissa Garcia) Valdez, and Eleuth (Angie Aranda) Valdez, siblings Clemente Marquez, Alberto Marquez, Martin Marquez and Epigmenia Marquez. Her grandchildren Diana Granado, Liset Lujan, Eric Olivas Valdez, Aaron Olivas Valdez, Alejandro Valdez Padilla, Jaime Valdez Padilla, Noely Valdez Padilla, Gabriel Valdez Padilla, Ofrael Valdez Benavidez, Luis Obed, Lluvia Zaraid, Juan Carlos Valdez, Oscar Valdez, Fernando Valdez, Alicia Valdez, Selina Valdez, Angela Valdez, Yuliana Valdez, Jayden Valdez, Brisa Valdez and Ayleni Valdez.
Pallbearers will be Eric Olivas, Aaron Olivas, Alejandro Valdez, Gabriel Valdez, Luis Obed Carrasco and Juan Carlos Valdez.
