Inés Morales Vásquez, querido esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y amigo, falleció el 29 de agosto de 2025 en Lake Forest, Illinois, a la edad de 68 años. Nacido el 21 de enero de 1957 en México, Inés fue un hombre de profundas raíces y amplias ramas, que marcó la vida de todos los que lo conocieron con su humor, amor y habilidades prácticas.
La vida de Inés fue un vibrante tapiz tejido con el amor de su familia y la alegría de sus múltiples pasiones. Fue un esposo devoto para su esposa, Irma García Ramírez, y una luz guía para sus hijos, Diego, Octavio, Héctor y Alejandro. Sus tres nietos que fueron los niños de sus ojos, cada uno de ellos un testimonio de su legado de bondad y fortaleza. Los hermanos de Inés lo recordarán como la piedra angular de su familia, siempre presente con un chiste para animar o una herramienta para resolver un problema. Cada invierno, guiaba a su familia en una entrañable peregrinación a México, una tradición que mantenía viva y floreciente su herencia cultural. Inés encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida, como decorar y mantener sus hogares tanto en México como en Estados Unidos. Su amor por la mecánica era más que un pasatiempo; era una forma de expresión, una que veía sus autos y máquinas funcionando tan bien como su risa llenaba la habitación.
Hombre de fe y tradición, Inés encontró consuelo y fortaleza visitando los santuarios de la Virgen de San Juan y Guadalupe en México. Su viaje espiritual fue personal, y le brindó consuelo y guía a lo largo de su vida. Su conexión con la tierra era evidente en sus jardines, donde cultivaba una impresionante variedad de vegetales y flores, cada planta un testimonio de su paciencia y cuidado.
