Inez Wade Pressley

Inez Wade Pressley, 96, of Raleigh, died on Sunday February 25, 2024 at The Stratford Assisted Living in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born on Sept 20, 1927, in Raleigh, NC to the late Blaney Jefferson Wade of Dunn, NC and Blanche Mable Wade (Cone), of Middlesex, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lanie Ruth Wade Godwin (William) and Mary Rose Wade Brown (William), and two brothers, Salome Quentin Wade and Talmadge E. Wade. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ann Cox, and husband J. R. Cox, of Raleigh, NC, and her son, Michael Wyatt Pressley and wife, Laura Pressley of Morrisville NC.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, her loved ones will honor her memory in their own special ways, celebrating her life and the countless memories shared together.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of The Stratford Assisted Living facility for their unwavering kindness and support towards Inez throughout these past few years. Additionally, our profound appreciation goes out to the dedicated Hospice Team for their daily care and support during Inez's final months. Their dedication and care have been truly invaluable, and we are deeply thankful beyond words.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pretty in Pink Foundation, based in Raleigh, NC, in memory of Inez Pressley.
