She was born on May 17, 2003 in Mexico. She attended McCrary Elementary School and North Asheboro Middle School, and graduated from Asheboro High School in 2021. Vanessa was employed with David's Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and admiring the sky, sunsets were her favorite. Vanessa's favorite food was Enchiladas Verdes and she enjoyed listening to music all the time.
Vanessa is survived by her parents, Jose Jasso Jimenez and Maribel Alvarez Salas; brothers, Edwin Giovanni Alvarez, Christopher Foster and wife Brianna, and Jose Jasso Rodriguez; sisters, Danae Hernandez Alvarez and Carolyn Jimenez; aunts, Gisela Rodriguez Salgado, Guille Huerrera, Maria Alvarez, and Raquel Jasso Jimenez; uncles, Juan Jasso Jimenez, Pablo Jimenez, and Oscar Alvarez; cousins, Fernando Jimenez Sandoval, Diana Jasso Rodriguez, Katherine Jasso Rodriguez, Oscar Ivan Jasso Rodriguez, Natalie Jasso Huerrera, Perla Munoz, J.R. Tinoco and partner Jessica, and Kimberly Tinoco.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 512 West Wainman Avenue in Asheboro. A funeral mass will follow on Friday from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the church.
