Mrs. Irena Anna (Maciorowski) Zwolinski, 97 of Bristol, widow of Jan Zwolinski passed away peacefully at Jerome Home in New Britain on November 9, 2025.
Irena was born on August 26, 1928, in Poland, daughter of the late Jan and Marianna (Markowska) Maciorowski. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the St. Stanislaus Towarzystwo.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alfred and Teresa Zwolinski and by her daughter-in-law, Danuta Zwolinski; her sister, Teresa and brother-in-law Piotr Chmielewski. Five grandchildren; Robert and his wife Jadwiga Zwolinski, Dianne and her husband Michael Vye, Dorothy and her husband David Dauphinais; Andrew and his wife Katy Zwolinski and Katherine Zwolinski; great grandchildren- Stefan, Nina, Adam, Brayden, Justen, Natalia, Derek, Grant and Jude; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her son, Aleksander, and her brother and sister-in-law, Jan and Anna Maciorowski, and great granddaughter, Isabella.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Jerome Home for the care and support they provided to her over the years especially Krystyna, Ela, Emma, Eric, Rosaline, Juliana, Grazyna, Jenna, Maura, and HHC hospice Nurse, Iris.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30am-10:30am Friday, November 14, 2025, at Dunn Funeral Home, Bristol CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, 11:00 Am at St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol or to Jerome Home (Recreation Dept), New Britain.
