Irene Alvarado, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 5, 1946, in Santa Rosa, TX, Irene was known for her personality, caring nature, and her loving spirit.
Irene was the proud mother of six children: Sylvia Torres, Leticia Pineda, Joe Pineda(Dayana), Fabian Pineda, Rudy Pineda, and Frank Alvarado. She cherished her role as a grandmother to many, including Vanessa, Tom(Brenda), Victor(Janet), Andrew(Jessica), Correna, Michael, Alexis, Matteo, Crista, Brenna, and Maggie. Irene also enjoyed the joy of great-grandchildren, welcoming Landon, Vida, Amelia, Ruby, Athena, Achilles, and Aries into the family.
In addition to her immediate family, Irene is survived by her siblings Gilbert Jr., Lydia, and Ray, who held her close in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her siblings Lupe, Romona, Ruben, and Tomasa.
Irene had a wide array of interests that brought her joy. She loved gardening, spending time with her grand fur babies Fiona, Luna, Itzzy, and Lila, engaging in word searches, listening to music, attending church, and reading the Bible. These passions displayed her nurturing spirit and zest for life.
Irene Alvarado will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love and care will live on through her family and friends.
