Irene Jean Baum

Irene Jean "Jeanie" (née Piepmeyer) Baum, age 82 of Blue Ash, passed away Saturday September 20, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Bill Baum. Devoted mother of Denise (Kevin) Goldschmidt and Tricia (Brian) Downing. Proud grandmother of Gabrielle, Lily and Cora Zella. She was born on July 15, 1943, to the late Harry and Irene Piepmeyer. Sister of the late Harry Piepmeyer, and Jim Piepmeyer who survives. Many extended family and friends remain to mourn her passing.
Jeanie will be remembered for her quick smile and generous nature. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, and often offered help without being asked. She was an excellent listener and loved to share stories with her friends and family. She loved chatting and playing with her granddaughters and, even in her eighties, she was still quite a spitfire! Her impact on the lives of others is immeasurable and she will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 27th at 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 10:30 am, at St Saviour Catholic Church 4136 Myrtle Ave Cin. OH 45236. Final resting place will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to Bethesda Foundation, 10500 Montgomery Rd., Montgomery, OH 45242 in memory of Irene Jean "Jeanie" Baum.
