Irene E. Burrows, 93, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Oil City Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Irene was born on January 22, 1932, in Titusville to the late Manley M. and Alberta Emerson Manross. She married Roy C. Burrows on January 20, 1961, he preceded her in death on December 2, 2020.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1950.

Irene worked as an accountant for many years at the former Penn Bank and Trust, and Muirhead, Cole & Voisin Real Estate Company.

She was an active member in the Order of the Eastern Star Gridley Chapter #324 of Erie, PA.

Irene had a love for animals and trees, she would often donate to various organizations to help children in need, animals and wildlife conservation. Above all she enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family and grandchildren.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Pennie Winkler and husband Richard of Titusville; her sons, Daniel Nicols and wife Lynn of Murrysville, PA, and Timothy Burrows and companion Amy of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Andrew Maclean and partner Helen, Michael Maclean, Melissa Angel and wife Gina, Marie Bagi, Cameron Nicols and wife Maggie, and Nicole Burrows; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson- Burrows, Lily Bagi, Sonny and Bode Nicols; her sister in law, Lois "Chick" Manross of Marietta, GA, and Diane Manross of Easton, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Manross and wife Lois, Manley E. Manross, William Manross, Jean Manross Morris and husband Robert, and Patricia Manross Voisin and husband Paul.

No services will be observed.

Interment will be at Triumph Swedish Union Cemetery.
