Irene Daigle Obituary

Irene began her working career at White Star Laundry, later worked at Components, and eventually became a CNA at St. Andre's Nursing Home. After her retirement, she continued to volunteer at St. Andre's. She enjoyed sweets, sitting on her swing in the summer, watching game shows, observing wildlife and traffic, and spending time with her family and her dog, Arya.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Daigle; her son, Michael; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Denise (Carl) Hernandez; her son Rick (Wendy) Daigle; her son Steven (Cathy) Daigle; her daughter Lori (Jose) Nieves; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, Maine 04005. A Funeral Outside of Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
