Irene Hauner, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

She was born in Munich, Germany on December 17, 1939 and moved to the United States at the age of 17. She lived in California, where she became a United States citizen. She lived the last 6 years at Park Rest Hardin County Heath Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet Diaz-Martin; cousin, Angelika Kühnöhl of Munich, Germany; two nieces, Juanita Young and Brigitte Dobson, both of Counce, Tennessee; great nieces, Adrian Heinz of Bartlett, Tennessee and Kay Kay Sanchez of Moriarty, New Mexico; great nephews, Edward Young of Counce, Tennessee, Cody Gresham of Mesa, Arizona, Billy Booth of Savannah, Tennessee, and Allen York of Cantonment, Florida.
