Irene Kelsch

Irene Kelsch, born on August 30, 1937, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. An elegant embodiment of grace and kindness, Irene touched the lives of many throughout her years. She was a beloved wife to her husband, Michael Kelsch, and cherished the bonds she formed with her family and friends.

Irene was known for her quiet yet warm personality, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. She developed a passion for baking, making the best bread that became a staple at family gatherings and an adored treat among friends. Her love for culinary creations was only matched by her fondness for playing on the computer, where she often found satisfaction in exploring new interests.

In her leisure time, Irene enjoyed going out to lunch, engaging in conversations with family and friends. A trip to the shops provided her with another avenue of enjoyment, as she loved to discover unique items. 

Irene shared a special bond with her cousin, Carol Moses, who remained a significant part of her life. Though her daughter, Christine Kelsch, preceded her in death, Irene's memory will live on through the love and connections she fostered during her lifetime.

A Prayer Service in honor of Irene Kelsch will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Joseph New Cemetery (Chapel) 4500 Foley Rd., beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 11:15 AM. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life, reminisce about her wonderful qualities, and share cherished memories. Irene will be remembered fondly, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will resonate with all who knew her.
