Jackie Lauderback

Jackie Lauderback, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 27, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jackie was the cherished daughter of Bobby and Hazel (nee Wynn) Davis. She was a compassionate spirit whose warmth touched the lives of everyone she met.
In 1977, Jackie married Ronald Lauderback, and together they created a beautiful life in South Fairmont, filled with love and laughter. Their daughter, Karen, was their greatest joy and source of pride. Jackie's heart swelled with happiness as she embraced her role as a grandmother to Brandon, Kaitlyn, and Karly, reveling in the simple pleasures of family gatherings and beach days-with a mixed drink often in hand. She eagerly anticipated the joy of becoming a great-grandmother, dreaming of the memories yet to be made.
Jackie's years spent as a bartender at the 19th Hole in Cheviot saw her form strong connections with her patrons, further cementing her as a beloved figure in the community. Passionate about her family and friends, she created special memories that will linger in the hearts of those who loved her. Jackie was also a fan of reality television, often found watching "Jersey Shore" or enjoying her favorite movie, "Temptations," evoking laughter and smiles.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ronnie Wright) Oswald; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Lauderback, Kaitlyn Oswald, and Karly Bolen; her brother, Clem Carpenter; and her dear nephew, Jimmy Davis, and niece, Misty Carpenter. She is also survived by her fiancé Garry Smith, a friend for many years in South Fairmont and reunited in 2017.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Ronald in 2012, her parents, and several beloved siblings, including Jimbo Davis, Gary Davis, Shelby Carpenter, and Shirley Carpenter, as well as her nephew, Dustin Bolen.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, located at 138 Monitor Ave., Sayler Park, OH 45233. In this time of remembrance, we will share stories, celebrate Jackie's life, and honor the profound impact she had on all our lives. May her spirit live on in our hearts forever.
