Irene Cecilia Mueller age 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 22, 1932 to the late Albert and Martha Wanstrath (nee Murphy).
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Joseph Mueller, Siblings, Joseph Wanstrath, Brother, Albert Wanstrath, Brother, James Wanstrath, Brother, John (Jack) Wanstrath, Brother, William (Bill) Wanstrath, Brother, Daniel Wanstrath, Sister, Rita Cunningham, Sister, Martha Hennies.
Irene is survived by many Nieces and Nephews also by Special Friends, Ruth Loccisano, Sandy Nelson-Yeary and Wilbur Canady and a host of other family members and friends.
Irene graduated from St. Xavier Commercial College and went on to work at Kenner Toys in their front office. She furthered her career by working at World Library Publications in exports and eventually retired from Cinergy Gas and Electric Company. She enjoyed playing bingo during her earlier days, working puzzles, parties with lots of balloons and ice cream (especially from The Mt. Healthy Dairy Bar). She definitely embraced technology and Googled everything. Irene was a beacon of light and touched the lives of countless individuals. She had a zest for life, an infectious laugh and a heart overflowing with generosity. She loved people and always saw the good in humanity. Irene was a shining example of what it meant to live with purpose and kindness.
Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2025 with a visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
