Nancy Elizabeth Wenneman, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Born on July 26, 1948, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leroy and Dorothy Thomas (nee Sunderhaus).
Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bob" Thomas, her sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Eddie Hayes, and her brother, Donald "Mouse" Thomas.
Nancy is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 55 years, Louis Wenneman, and their cherished son, Greg (Lisa) Wenneman. She was a proud grandmother to Brenna (Jared) Minges, Mallorie (Myles Elliott) Wenneman, and Collin Wenneman, as well as a great-grandmother to Joel, Paxton, Lynnex, Zara Minges, Felicity, Avarie, and Elijah Elliott. She is also survived by her brothers, Bill (Judy) Thomas and Dan (Karen) Thomas, sisters-in-law Barb (Gary) Walling, Nancy Thomas, Gloria Thomas, and a host of family and friends.
Throughout her life, Nancy found joy in various activities. She was an enthusiastic bowler, enjoyed reading, and took great pleasure in cooking, particularly known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. Additionally, she loved cross-stitching and making personal Christmas stockings for her grandchildren.
Nancy's greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
To honor Nancy's life and legacy, her family will be holding a visitation on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45252. A Memorial Mass will follow the visitation. A private inurnment will take place at Crown Hill Memorial Park at a later date.
