Irene Solis Obituary
Irene M. Solis, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 02, 2024. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Irene is preceded in death by her parents: Gregorio Muños and Maria Aguirre, her husband: Jesus Manuel Solis, and her son: Juan Raymundo Solis. She is survived by her children: Diana Hanlin (Rocky), Maria Teresa Solis, Victor Jesus Solis (Veronica), Veronica Cecilia Navedo, Monica Dolores Marmolejo (Daniel), and Joseph Anthony Solis (Hortencia), her siblings: Barbara Flores and Gregorio Muñoz Jr., 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
Pallbearers include Luis Navedo III, Hector Manuel Navedo, Ricardo M., Tomas M., Joseph Talavera, Victor Solis Jr., Vincent Solis, and James Schornick.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Street, Anthony, New Mexico 88021. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:15pm at Anthony Community Cemetery, N. 4th St & Acosta Rd. Anthony, New Mexico, 88021.
