Iris June Hamlet

Iris "June" Hamlet, 87, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on October 26, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
June was born on Tuesday, August 30, 1938, in Oneida, Tennessee, to the late Fred Kidd and Mildred (Phillips) Kidd.
June was a loving daughter, sister, wife, proud mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a successful businesswoman in Cookeville for many years, owning and operating Hamlet and Associates Inc., and was in the rental property business.
June is survived by, 2 sons, Cary Hamlet, and Keith Hamlet. 4 Grandchildren, Kelsey Hamlet, Alex Huddleston, Nicholas Hamlet, and Ali Hamlet.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles Hamlet; Daughter, Judy Hamlet Huddletson.
Funeral Service for June Hamlet will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Henry officiating. June will be laid to rest at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 10, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to The Foundation at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in June's name.
