Irma Vesta Browning

Irma Vesta Browning, age 93, of Fisk, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her residence in Fisk, MO. Mrs. Browning was born August 19, 1930, daughter of the late James and Stella Hicks. She enjoyed being outdoors, mowing the yard and planting flowers. She also loved animals. She attended church at The Lord's Chapel in Poplar Bluff where she loved to sing in the choir.
Irma is survived by two children: Daniel Browning and Dennis Browning, both of Poplar Bluff, MO; one granddaughter: Nicki (Kevin II) Goble of Fisk, MO, four great grandchildren: Levi, Hunter, Rileigh, and Rhys; and two siblings: Don (Kathy) Hicks of Conway, AR and Bonnie Sliger of Poplar Bluff, MO.
In addition to her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Browning; one son: Mark Browning, and two grandchildren: Andrew and Jeffery Browning; and four siblings: Lavell, Chalmer, Ferrel, David,.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
