Wanda Faye Davis

Wanda Faye Davis (Kilburn), age 89, of Quincy, IL, (formerly of Qulin, MO.) passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, surrounded by those she loved. Faye was born July 20, 1936 in Obion, TN , daughter of John C. and Floreain Kilburn.

On June 26, 1959 she married Louie LeaVern (Vern) Davis, with whom she enjoyed 54 years of a loving marriage until his death in February 2014. Together they had two children Gary and Sheri. In her younger days she and Vern owned and operated Penny Pincher's convenience store in Qulin, MO. where they made many new acquaintances and friends, before selling the store in 1994. Following their retirement, they enjoyed several years of travel to Florida, forming lasting friendships that became like family.

She loved being "Granny" to her granddaughters and watching them grow into successful adults. In addition, she never turned down a good game of Rummy, Diet Dr. Pepper, a cherry turnover, strawberry Blizzard, or a delicious piece of chocolate.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Sheri Reller (Kevin), of Quincy, IL; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Davis, of Qulin, MO; granddaughters Logan Reller (Dustin Brassfield) of Quincy, IL; Torey Elder (Colton) of Qulin, MO; Hannah Reller (David Jacob) of St. Charles, MO; Lindsey Steele (Colton) of Harviell, MO; great-grandchildren: Garyn and Ronni Elder and Waylon Steele.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her son; her sister, Geneva Young; and brother, JC Kilburn.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Graveside services will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Qulin Ball Park, where her great-grandchildren play, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
