Irma Espinoza-Camp, 61, resident of Marysville, California, passed away April 30 th, 2025 peacefully at University of California Davis Hospital in Sacramento, California surrounded by family.

She was born Irma Isabel Marquez Espinoza on November 12, 1963, in Sacramento, California. As a young girl she enjoyed swimming, singing, dancing, playing tag, hide and seek exploring nature. She loved nature trips to the ocean, camping in Tahoe and Napa. As a very young child she helped the family business selling leather goods at various flea markets. It was there that her parents instilled the importance of hard work. After high school she worked a variety of jobs until she was hired at the State of California. She retired as an Analyst with the State of California after 28 yrs. She was very sociable, made friends easily. Her laugh was contagious. She enjoyed listening to 80's Rock n roll music, as a young girl her favorite song was "Karma Chameleon" Boy George & Culture Club. She met her husband, Gary, at a BBQ at a friend's house while watching Monday night football. They became friends and found out they had the same interest. They were married in 2001 and began sharing hobbies like photography, camping, hiking, fishing, Disneyland, cruises to Mexico and Alaska, family get togethers, Giants games, motorcycle rides, and concerts. She enjoyed nature hikes; her favorite places were Point Reyes, Joshua Tree, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Gray Lodge Wildlife Area, and Historic Bridgeport Covered Bridge. She was an animal lover and when adopting a new pet, she often chose the pet least likely to be adopted. In 2012 they moved from Sacramento to Marysville. In Marysville she felt more at peace. She enjoyed the yearly migration of the white swans over her house. She planted a hummingbird and succulent garden. She had a deep devotion to God she studied the Bible, prayed the rosary daily, and attended mass every Sunday. Jesus gave her the strength she needed to move forward during her illness. He also blessed her with the strength and wisdom she needed to acknowledge when to trust in him and let go. She was everyone's best friend, and we will cherish her memory and miss her very much.

She is survived by her husband Gary Camp of 24 years. Her son Eric McClain (Bridgette), her grandson Kellin McClain. Her sister's Mary (Joseph) Serpa, Maria Conley, Belinda (Wayne) Farncomb, her brother's Mario (Esther) Espinoza, David Espinoza, and John Espinoza. Preceded in death by her parents Juan and Angela Espinosa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her faithful dog Douglas.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27 th, 2025, at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center Fd2263. A rosary will be prayed in the chapel at 9:00am followed by the mass at 10:00am, and the burial at 11:00 am, on the cemetery grounds.
