IRMA LEE RUFFIN MARTIN

Irma Lee Ruffin Martin, age 80, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was a native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Irma was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a former member of St. Mark Baptist Church of White Castle, LA and White Chapel Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late Henry Martin. Loving mother of Annette Ruffin, Paul Ruffin, Michelle Ruffin (Fiancé Reginald Austin), and the late Paul Lee and Robert Ruffin. Daughter of the late Clarence Ruffin, Sr. and Bertha Jones. Devoted sister Evelyn (Clarence) Chancellor, Shirley Ruffins, Bertha (Don) Jenkins, and the late Dorothy Hayes, Mary Ruffin, Patricia McCullum, Laura Ruffin, Clarence Ruffin, Jr, Elijah Ruffin and James Ruffin. Irma is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
