Irma Shemonic Obituary
Irma was born on November 29, 1944, in Nashville, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Erna (Huge) Pedtke.
Irma worked in the healthcare industry for many years, and she was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL. Irma enjoyed spending her time crocheting, quilting and being with her family, whom she loved dearly.
Left to mourn her passing are her 3 children, Denise Lynn Orrill and husband Chris of Thompsonville, IL, Dennis Shemonic and wife Dina Serven of DuBois, IL, and Patricia Bailey of Ashley, IL; 11 grandchildren, Samantha Orrill, Kristina Orrill, Brandon Orrill, Justin Orrill, Zachary Shemonic, Winston Bailey, Jr., Jessica (Jacob) Mammell, Aaliyah Bailey, Ray Bailey, Day Bailey and Janisha Bailey; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Judy) Pedtke of St. Louis, MO; sister, Mary (Eddie) Buretta of Nashville, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings in infancy and a son-in-law, Winston Bailey, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7 P.M. with Fr. Benny George officiating. Per the wishes of Irma and her family, cremation will be performed after the funeral service and burial of Ashes will be held at a later date.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
