Irv Graver Jr., died March 10, 2026 at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

There will be no services held at this time. Private family services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa. Goettsch Funeral Home has taken Irv and his family into their care.

Glenn Irving Graver Jr. was born in Anamosa, Iowa on August 16, 1948, the son of Glenn Irving and Annabel Zach Graver Sr. He graduated from the Anamosa Community Schools in 1960. Irv continued his education at the University of Iowa. He later worked doing construction. Irv married Brenda Bodkin in 1973 at the Little Brown Church, Nasuha, Iowa. He and his brother John started Graver Construction in 1975 and continued to operate that business until retirement in 2020.

Irv loved to travel, play golf, and drive his yellow Corvette ZO6. He loved to go fast, owning several motorcycles and a chopper. His first Corvette was a yellow 1963 Split Window.

Surviving are 2 children, Greg (Dawn) Graver, Cara (Jim) Hocking, 7 grandchildren, Elle Boeding, Jaelyn, Reeve Graver, Amaia, Beckett, Stellan and Hendrix Hocking and his siblings, John (Laura) Graver and Merry Ann Gibson.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother-in-law Steve Gibson.
