Irvin Curole Obituary
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 11:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Irvin is survived by his wife of 68 ½ years: Dora Chabert Curole; daughters: Charlene Schexnayder (Michael) and Connie Adams; grandchildren: Laura Schexnayder Boswell (Mason), Charles Schexnayder, and Ethan Adams (fiancé Carly Guidry); great grandchildren: Benjamin, Marguerite and Ellia Boswell; sisters-in-law: Earline Curole and Nina Bourg; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Curole is preceded in death by his parents: Luke Curole Sr. and Sidonia Curole; father-in-law: Charles Chabert; mother-in-law: Ellia Chabert; sisters: Gladys Aucoin and Rena Curole; brothers: Luke Curole Jr. and Freddy Curole; and son-in-law: William "Bill" Adams.
Irvin was an avid gardener that enjoyed many trips with his loving wife and family to their camp on Grand Isle. He was an Army veteran who proudly served his country for 4 years by being stationed in Germany and a dedicated employee of Texaco for 31 years.
In lieu of flowers; Mr Irvin's family ask for donations in his name to St. Jude Baton Rouge Affiliate at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.
The family wishes to say a very special thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice, hospice nurses, and sitters: Grace, Linda, Lorraine, and Tanya.
