Milton Curole Obituary
Milton David Curole, 95, a native of Larose and a resident of Marrero, LA, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Monday, November 18 from 9:30 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, with a graveside service to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Mr. Curole is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Vivian Dufrene Curole; son, Rodney Jude Curole, Sr. (Jeanne); daughter, Lisa Curole; grandchildren, Chelsea, Eden Breaux (Justin), Rodney Jr. (Shayla), Evan Michael, Kelsey, Conner, Cierra, and Ava; and great-grandchildren, Ford Breaux and Evvi Breaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Chlothilde Curole; brothers, Jason, Edwis, and David; and sisters, Vivian Bentz and Ethel Schaeffer.
Mr. Curole was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Austria. He was a tugboat captain for 29 years at Avondale Shipyard. He enjoyed being on the water, trawling and fishing. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
