Irvin Donald Hairfield, age 81, of Vichy, was born October 27, 1944, in Axton, Virginia, a son of Irvin William and Betty Lee (Morre) Hairfield and passed from this life on Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home near Vichy.

During his working life, Irvin was a dump truck driver. He liked spending time with his family, working on cars, visiting diners, one of his favorites was Waffle Hut, and dancing even though he said he couldn't dance. Irvin enjoyed watching Westerns, especially Gun Smoke and Rawhide. He loved watching wrestling and never missed watching a match his grandson Dacoda was in.

Those left to mourn the passing of Irvin include: his children; David Hairfield and wife, Leigh of Vichy, Stacey Richardson and husband, Keith of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Paul Hairfield and wife, Jennifer of Kansas City; eight grandchildren, Heather Bedwell (Sean Hatfield), Jessica Skaggs (Zach), Tierney Hairfield, Brian Neisen (Michelle), Amber Henderson (Michael), Courtney Hairfield (Sean Etherton), Paul Hairfield (Emily), and Dacoda Richardson (Raz); eighteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Louise Durham of North Carolina; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin William Hairfield on December 19, 1994; his mother, Betty Hairfield on January 5, 2018; and two brothers, Pete Hairfield on August 25, 2014, and William Hairfield on January 17, 2010.

Following Irvin's wishes, the family has elected cremation under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Memorials contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or c/o the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
