Irvin "Irv" Lee Maines, age 90, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.

A proud graduate of Bellevue High School, Irv went on to build a dedicated career as a data processor with Leblond Makino. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many passions. Irv was a gifted bowler and a talented painter, finding joy in both precision and creativity. He also found delight in the rhythm and camaraderie of square dancing, embracing every step with a light heart and a warm smile.

Above all, Irv treasured the time he spent with his beloved family and friends. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen (Gary) Fryman, granddaughter, Jennifer Maines-Gundrum and his parents. Irv is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene (nee Sweeney) Maines, sons, Keith (Terri) and Kevin (Kimberly) Maines, daughter, Kiplie (Dave) Culp, grandchildren, Krista, Gary, Kyrie, Kyle, Elizabeth, Jackson, Christen, Great-Grandchildren, Emma, Cory, Olivia, Wade, Julian, Daphne, and Caitlyn.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
