Irvin Sims Obituary
Burk is survived by his brother, Shane Sims; his sister, Scarlett Sims Goodwin; one bonus step-brother, Luke Carter; one daughter, Kari Snyder; three grandsons; seven nephews, Sage, Sam, Stone and Slade Goodwin, Bo, Britt, and Blake Sims; one uncle, Chuck Sims; his aunt, Marilyn Sims and several family members and friends.
Buck was loved by all who knew him. He had friends everywhere. When someone found out that you were a Sims, it was always followed by "Do you know Buck Sims". Many called him "Uncle Buck". In Buck's younger years, he was a fierce defender of friends and family. As he grew older, he was like a big-hearted teddy bear. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service for Buck will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, October 10 at Hazen Cemetery.

I grew up knowing Bucky in school until I moved away. He was a sweet man and a great friend. I will miss him and think of him with warm smiles. RIP Bucky.

Met his daddy years ago, his uncle Chuck was a friend, & Bucky was cool with that. My condolences to the family.

I met my daddy buck through my momma they got married and I was so happy!!!! Bc I got the best step dad in the world. Who loved all of her kids as his own. He stood beside my brother from the time he got diagnosed with cancer up until he passed. My brother kyler he raised him from the start of his life to the end of his life.
I miss walking into the city market and going to the back just to give you hug. You are everything and more. I love you

His laugh! His smile! The way he took care of all of us from me to my 2 little brothers. He is the best man and the definition of a real man. He always did what he could. I miss my daddy buck. He was everything I wanted my dad to be. I love you from down here to up thereit's your world buck.
