Isaac Cheney Obituary
He married Traci Snapp in the Mount Timpanogos temple October 2005. They were later divorced. Soon after the divorce they found out Isaac had DRPLA. Traci was granted Guardianship to help take care of Isaac. He has lived in care facilities since 2011.
He worked as a graphic designer for many years. He worked at BYU in the Biology department helping the professors, UVSC as a graphic designer for the Aviation department. His last job was at Stouffer’s . Before going on long term disability and living in care facilities.
What made him the happiest was being a dad to Emma and Kylee. His kids were raised visiting their dad in nursing homes. He took pride in showing them off to the other residents.
He leaves behind two daughters Emma & Kylee, caregiver Traci. His Father Steve (Aileen) Cheney. Siblings - Rebecca (Mark) Serr, Jacob (Lara) Cheney, Ben (Yeeman) Cheney, Sam (Lethe) Cheney, Joseph (Summer) Cheney, Michael (Amber) Cheney. He was preceded in death by his brother Ammon, and his mother Belinda kiyoko Perida Castillo Cheney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the church at 950 South 1700 East in Springville with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.We want to give a special thank you to Richard and all of his amazing employees at Seasons of Santaquin. They cared for him for the last nine years with love and kindness! Also, a thank you to Staci from First Choice Home Health & Hospice and their team for taking care of him the last several years. Staci has also shown love and kindness to Isaac. To everyone that has shown Traci, Kylee and Emma love and kindness over the years and emotional support Thank you
