Isabel J. Enos, 92, a lifelong resident of Falmouth, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at Falmouth Hospital after a brief illness. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Isabel was the heart of her family and a beloved member of her community.
Born and raised in Falmouth, Isabel built a legacy of love, faith, and family. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Jesse E. Enos Sr., with whom she owned and operated Teaticket Auto Body and Towing since 1965. Together, they created a life centered around service, hard work, and devotion to family.
Isabel was a devout Catholic and a longtime St. Patrick's Church parishioner, where she attended services faithfully. Her strong faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was also an avid baker, known for sharing her treats with family, friends, and the community.
For many years, Isabel and Jesse enjoyed winters in their second home in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, making cherished memories with loved ones and enjoying the beach.
Isabel is survived by her loving children: daughter Sharon Smith and her husband Darryl, and son Michael Enos and his wife Linda, all of Falmouth. She also leaves behind her brother, Charles Lopes of Rhode Island. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jesse E. Enos Jr., in 2020.
She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Kelly Brailey and her husband Kevin and their children, Ryan and Alexa, of Barnstable; Jessica Enos and her son Lucas Picard of Falmouth; Brittney Martinsen and her son Finn Martinsen of Falmouth; Lauren Enos of Wareham; Chad Enos of Mashpee; Mal and Sam McDonnell; and Patrick Vendetti of Falmouth and Maine.
Isabel's life was defined by her enduring love for her family, her deep faith, and her generous spirit. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the loving family she leaves behind.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. Mass will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, 10am at St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Gifford Street, Falmouth.
