Isabel Hill (née Niño), age 93, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1977, formerly of Madison, WI and Oak Lawn, IL, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at HarborChase of Naperville. She was born on June 1, 1932, in Bogotá, Colombia.

Beloved wife of Lloyd J. Hill, whom she married on April 31, 1963, loving mother of Scott (Melinda) Hill of Lake Forest, IL, Diane (Damon) Lawson of Cohasset, MA and Lisa (Barry) Krumwiede of Batavia, IL, adored grandmother of Kelsey, Matthew, Eric and Kevin Hill; Amelia and Madelyn Lawson; Ethan, Jake and Braden Krumwiede, devoted daughter of the late Hipólito and Isabel (nee Herrera) Niño, dear sister of the late Hipólito Niño, the late General Elias (Beatriz Serna Laignelet) Niño and the late Eduardo Niño, daughter-in-law of the late Matt and Rebecca Hill, sister-in-law of Ruth Ann (the late Sonny) Hill and the late Ruth (the late Howard) Jones, fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many, including Deb Ready and family.

Isabel grew up in Bogotá, Colombia and came to the United States in 1953. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and was later employed at Oscar Mayer. Isabel met and married her husband, Lloyd and eventually relocated to Chicago then

Naperville. She retired from the DuPage County Courthouse in Wheaton, IL where she worked as a clerk.

Isabel was an avid sewer and would make her children and grandchildren clothes and costumes. She also enjoyed baking and was happiest cooking for family and friends. Isabel was a former member of Evangelical Free Church of Naperville (now The Compass Church).

Isabel will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt.

Private services are being planned for a future date.
