Isabelle Blank Obituary
She was predeceased on June 11, 2005 by her beloved husband of 54 ½ years, Jacob W. (Bill) Blank. Survived by her children; W. Douglass Blank (Deb), Julie I. Blank, Craig A. Blank, Christopher J. Blank (Barb). Surviving grandchildren; Jacelyn P. Blank (Aaron), Jacob C. Blank, Andrew J. Blank and great grandchild Reed A. Miller.
Mrs. Blank went to Grandview Hospital School of Nursing in Sellersville, PA and graduated in the class of 1948. She worked intermittently part-time in diverse nursing capacities while rearing her family. From 1972 to 1992 she was employed at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA as the R.N. Utilization Review Coordinator.
Following their retirement, Mrs. Blank and her husband travelled in the US and abroad, but their real love was the wooded hill-side home they built together and enjoyed for many years.
There will be a private family memorial gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation.

Hugs and Blessings to Isabelle's family. She was not only my work colleague, boss, I took over after she retired, most important Isabelle was my dear friend and like a second mother. We visited and spoke often. It was special to recently speak with Julie and remember such good times. Isabelle loved talking about her grandchildren and she was so proud. My son Michael was so fond of Isabelle. My husband Ken loved Isabelle and when he passed last year she was so comforting. Know that Isabelle is watching over all of you. Prayers to all.
