Isabelle Virginia Douglass, 84, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024. Mrs. Douglass was born in Lafayette, IN, a daughter of the late Harold Legg and Laura McCabe Hughes. She was married to the late Richard Douglass. Mrs. Douglass was a member of Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church of Bratt, FL. She loved spending time with her family and friends and Facetiming to keep in touch even through afar away. She had a love for shopping and shoes.

Surviving are her children, Terri West (Steve Marquie), Angela Harper (John), Karen Lane, Kristine Valandingham (Randy); Daniel Douglass (Anna); grandchildren, Nicholas Harper (Elizabeth), Jason Lane, Joshua Harper (Jessica), Jessica Musil (Robert), Matthew Lane (Ashley), Robbie Valandingham (Tiffany), Ashley Gay (Preston), Roderick Valandingham (Emily), Melissa Materas (Bryan), Ruben Valandingham (Holly), Isabella Valandingham, Amelia Douglass, Gretchen Douglass; great grandchildren, Alicia, Nicholas II, Zachary, Madisen, Alice, Phoenix, Sarah, Lucius, Eben, Tristen, Clive, Nora, Graham, Greta, Ellie, Carson, Kylie, Brayden, Ryder, Landon, Easton, Noah, Natalie, Jacob, Jessa, Haylee, Kenzie, Paisley, Korragan, Emma Grace; along with her great great grandchildren, Allena, Jackson, Landon, Kyra, Leia, Lukas and Jordan. Also surviving are her sisters, Wilma Spackman and Betty McClain (Darrell); numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeffrey Lane; and grandson, Jeffrey Lane II.

A memorial service for Mrs. Douglass will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 4th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Valandingham officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Vistas Hospice Group of Florida and Jay Hospital Staff for their excellent care.
