Isabelle Sanders "Sandy" Lankford, 68, of Fishers, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 22, 1956 to Malcolm and Mariella (Ashcraft) Floyd in San Antonio, Texas.
Sandy graduated from University of Miami, Florida then received her master's, as Summa Cum Laude, from ISU. She spent her career helping "kiddos" as a proud and talented Speech and Language Pathologist. She loved dogs and was active with Love of Labs rescue foundation. Sandy loved being on the water, traveling, and spending time with "her people." She gave everything she had to everything and everyone she loved, always with a smile.
She is survived by her children, Leah Lankford and Ross Lankford; sister, Debbie (Kelly) Snelling; brother, Mark (Jenny) Floyd; and nieces, Lexie and Jessica Floyd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Floyd.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday October 13, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers with Pastor Stanley Sutton officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
