Isaiah Heath Smith

Isaiah H. Smith, 23, of Augusta, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Born on March 25, 2002, he was the son of Brian Smith (bonus mom Samantha Smith) and Mandi Bauserman (bonus dad Charles Bauserman).

Isaiah is survived by his beloved daughter Rayah Smith and his six siblings: Caileigh Grimm (Kyle), Brandon Bauserman (Madeleine), Micah Smith (Karley), Aiden Lupton (Amelia), Victor Bauserman, and Isabella Bauserman. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Smith; maternal grandmother, Judy Arnold; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Smith, and maternal grandfather, Ronald Arnold.

Isaiah loved singing and playing his guitar, lighting up every room he entered with his beautiful gift of making people smile. He had the biggest heart and was always the first to stop and spread God's love to those around him. Isaiah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta WV with Rev. Adam Pritts and Rev. Robert Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service. Interment will be in Tearcoat Cemetery, Augusta, WV.

Pallbearers will include Brandon Bauserman, Micah Smith, Aiden Lupton, Austin Mullin, Joey Mullin, and Victor Bauserman. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly Smith and Damion Timbrook.
