Isiah Smith Obituary
Educated in the Florence County Public School System, Tom and his family, as a teenager, relocated to New Jersey. While in New Jersey, Tom was employed as a truck driver for Pave Rite, Inc. for the majority of his career.
At an early age, Tom entered into holy matrimony with Jeanne Johnson. To this union, a daughter, Melinda Smith, was born.
Tom enjoyed walking, shooting pool, playing cards and hanging out with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Isiah Smith, Sr. and sisters, Gladys Moore and Thelma Lee Brown.
Tom leaves to cherish precious memories, his daughter, Melinda (Ronald) Potter; siblings: Mary Ann Saunders, Starlene Smith, John Smith, James Smith, Betty Lou Bailey, and Odell Smith; grandchildren: Yuri (Troy) Bishop and Breana Potter; special niece, Diane Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
