Isis Aziz

Isis Aziz, a devoted wife, loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born on November 22, 1948, in Cairo, Egypt, Isis lived a life guided by
her dedication to her family and faith. She married her late husband on April 28, 1974, and worked for the Central Bank of Egypt until she left her country in 1986.
After migrating to the United States, she managed to work part-time at various jobs while taking care of her family. She brought everyone together through her delicious food, creating a home that was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the scent of something special on the stove. She started working with the Department of Education as a paraprofessional and enjoyed working with special needs kids. After retirement she traveled with her late husband Robert and took joy in spending quality time with her family.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Isis drew strength from her beliefs and found joy in serving others in need. She was a loving wife to her late husband Robert E. Aziz of 50 years. Together they raised three children: Rania Aziz, Rafik Aziz, and Sherif Aziz. Isis' pride in her family extended to her cherished grandchildren, Alex Davila and Jordan Aziz.
She is fondly remembered by her siblings: Sonia Sobhy, Farid Sobhy, Mary Sobhy and Sobhy Antoun Sobhy. Her family will forever treasure memories of her love, steadfast support and unmatched sense of humor.
Isis' legacy is one of commitments to her family, her work, and her faith. Her life serves as an enduring example of strength and compassion. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspire all who were blessed to be in her presence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Jesus the King Coptic Catholic Church located at 104 Center Street Perth Amboy, New Jersey 08861.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
