He was born on October 11, 1944, in Jefferson, Iowa to Alvin and Lorene (Stephenson) Moore. He graduated from Perry High School. He married Linda Hankinson, to this union they had two children, Denise and David Moore. He retired as a limousine driver in California. His hobbies included spending time with his family and gardening.
Survivors include his children, Denise Moore (Tim Lee), David Moore; grandchildren, Tony Moore, Jeff Moore, Alison Jones; 7 great-grandchildren; mother, Irene Moore; sister, Irene Birdsell; a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

I was a classmate of Jim's both at Dawson and Perry. I just learned of his passing when trying to locate him for a class picnic/reunion. He was always so friendly, nice to visit with, and caring. His friends will miss him. We were not aware of his passing til now. So sorry.
