Iuliana Carp

Iuliana Carp, age 76, of Gallatin, entered into rest on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the peace and comfort of her own home. She was born on May 6, 1949, in Romania. 

Iuliana moved to America in 1990, with her son and his father. She was the owner and operator and professional driver trainer for over 50 years. Iuliana was truly passionate about her business. After she retired, she often reminisced on her successful career and missed driving the trucks.

In her leisure time, Iuliana loved to listen to Romanian country music, and spent countless hours gardening. She had a green thumb and grew many flowers and vegetables.

She was an endearing mother, grandmother, and friend. Iuliana carried herself with wisdom and elegance. It was always appreciated when she shared her valuable life experiences.

Iuliana was also a woman of great faith, and high moral standing. She was a member of St. John Chrysostom Romanian Orthodox Church, since she moved to Tennessee, in 2006.

Iuliana will be dearly and deeply missed by many. Her memory will be cherished by her family, and they find comfort that she is at peace with the Lord.

Iuliana is survived by her son, Cory and his wife Silvia; grandson, Alex; and sister, Flori.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ilie Cucu; and mother, Cezarina Cucu.

Visitation will be held at Crestview Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., and again on Friday, August 22, from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 10:00 A.M.

Father Carol will be officiating the funeral service in honor of Iuliana Carp.

Interment in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow services.
