Joseph P Carp

Joseph P Carp 76 of Whiting died Sunday July 6, 2025 at home. Born in Ft Knox, Kentucky he resided in Toms River for 20 years, before moving to Whiting 5 years ago. He worked for the Lakewood Post Office for 44 years before retiring in 2020. He served in the army during Vietnam as an interpreter in intelligence from 1969-1970. He Graduated Brick Township High School in 1967. He enjoyed cooking, playing corn hole at family BBQ's and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and the Green Bay Packers. He is predeceased by his daughter, Mary Carp in 2011. Surviving is his son, William J Carp and his wife Colleen, siblings, Peter Carp and Judy Woodruff and 2 grandchildren, Peyton & Aiden. Memorial Gathering will be announced at a later date.
