Iva Duntz Obituary
She was the only child of Ivan Frank Myer and Dorothy Imogene (Stout) Myer. She attended Topeka High School and was a graduate of Washburn University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Iva Jean was also a member of PEO Chapter EK, Higginsville, MO. She loved cooking, sewing, cross stitching, and playing the piano.
She married Dr. Delvin Duane Duntz on October 6, 1956. Together they were the parents to Amy Diane Duntz McDonald and Alan Eugene Duntz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Dorothy; her husband, Delvin; and son, Alan.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Garrett and wife, Christine McDonald of San Francisco, CA, Lauren and husband, Gentry Naill of Andover, KS, Colin McDonald of San Francisco, CA, and Michael Duntz of Overland Park, KS. She has two great-grandchildren, Ily Brooke Naill and Kai Edward Reyes-McDonald.
Graveside Service will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 14, 2022, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
