Iva Louise Seagers

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Iva Louise Seagers (Eledge) on June 1, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale, Florida. Born in Lawrence County, Tennessee, on May 31, 1933, Iva lived a life full of love, kindness, and devotion to her family and faith.Iva was a beloved matriarch, cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Ricky Seagers (Pam), her daughter, Charlotte Childs (Brian), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Bradley Seagers (Alicia), Caroline, Tabatha Price, Austin, Rayly, Gracie, Selena, Alex Holmes (Holly), Lane, Hannah, Chad Holmes (Casey), and Ava. She brought joy and warmth to all who knew her, embodying qualities such as kindness, generosity, loyalty, consideration, and honesty. Throughout her life, Iva enjoyed a fulfilling career at Adams Packing House, where she was respected and admired. Above all, Iva was a loving wife and mother, committed to nurturing her family with unwavering support and endless love. She took great pleasure in her interests, delighting in country and bluegrass music and passionately watching baseball games. Iva's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she loved the Lord deeply, finding comfort and strength in her beliefs. Her generous spirit and compassionate nature touched the hearts of many, and she will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Family and friends are invited to honor Iva's life at a visitation on Wednesday, June 4th, from 5 PM to 7 PM, followed by a funeral service on Thursday, June 5th, at 10 AM, at Kersey Funeral Home, located at 108 Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the George C. Forsythe Hospice House, located at 450 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823, in loving memory of Iva Louise Seagers. Iva's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
