Ivan Odel Rundel

Ivan Odel Rundel, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, at the age of 61. Born on April 29, 1964, in Kennett, Missouri, to the late Jesse Odel Rundel and Darolyn (Potter) Weatherspoon, Ivan's early years were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family and the joys of small-town life.
Ivan's life was a testament to the love he had for his family and the simple pleasures in life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tracy (Stapp) Rundel, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. His legacy continues through his children, Jeremy and Elena Rundel of Lafe, Amber Mansfield of Paragould, Navi Rundel of Marmaduke, Jessica and Jeffrey Scoggin, and Justin and Megan Fuller. Although his son Donald Axthelm preceded him in death, Ivan's memory lives on in the hearts of his grandchildren, Blissidy Tam, Kyleigh Kepner, Treison Scoggin, Raiden Fuller, and Daelin Fuller, who will forever remember their grandfather's loving guidance and gentle spirit.
Ivan's siblings, Robert Rundel of Paragould and Shawna Gipson of Paragould, will miss his companionship and unwavering support. He was predeceased by his brother Ray Rundel.
A man of many interests, Ivan found joy in the simple things. He was an avid pool player, relishing the friendly competition and camaraderie around the billiards table. His love for football was well-known, and he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams surrounded by family and friends. Camping trips and excursions to the river were among his favorite ways to unwind and connect with nature, creating lasting memories with those he held dear.
Ivan's dog, Levi, was more than a pet; he was a loyal companion and a source of unconditional love. Their bond was a beautiful illustration of Ivan's capacity for affection and his appreciation for the faithful friendship that only a dog can provide.
As we bid farewell to Ivan Odel Rundel, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and a deep appreciation for the bonds of family and friendship.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 on Sunday, November 30, 2025 with the service to be held at 2:00 at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke. Pastor Bill Muse will be officiating the services. Interment will be at the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.
