Ivory Joe Counts, sweet infant daughter of Kenneth Todd Counts and Morgan Briann Scott, of East Prairie, MO, was welcomed into Heaven early Christmas morning, Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Ivory Joe was born October 28, 2024 at Sikeston, MO and was one month and 29 days old.
In addition to her mother and father, Ivory Joe is survived by her siblings, Dixie Mae Counts, Daisy Michelle Counts, Arienne Beth Counts, Josh (Shelby) Counts and Kalyn Michael (Bobbi) Counts; grandparents, Kenny Counts and Kelly Scott; Michael Grissom and Michael Wilcott; her maternal aunts, Heather (Chadd) Thomas, Codi (Travis) Lee, Morgan (Charles) Hunt and Maykayla Grissom; maternal uncle, Michael Grissom; paternal aunts, Nikka Johnson and Sue Weakley; paternal uncle, Michael O'Conner; and a host of cousins.
Ivory Joe was greeted in Heaven by maternal grandparents, Glenda Mae Whitlock; great aunt Amy M. Scott; her paternal grandmother, Dixie Clark Counts; uncle, Joe O'Conner and cousin, Brittany Leann O'Conner.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until noon, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Blessed Assurance Ministries Church, 108 Shannon Street, East Prairie, MO. Pastor Stanley Triplett will officiate, assisted by Jamie Powers.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Josh Counts and Mikey Grissom.
